Progression of a Food Shoot
Early this month I worked on a menu for Hof's Hut and Lucille's BBQ Each shot took about 1-2 hours from set-up to final. Above is a rough example of the small adjustments that are made that really make a difference. I worked with Prop Stylist, Kim Jankowiak and Food Stylist, Rochelle Palermo. After Kim placed and moved the props into position, the "hero" was brought in and I had a small window to capture the dish. Pretty exciting stuff! It takes a lot of patience and you can't overlook any details, but the end result reveals the hard work.
